HOCKEY.
, -—4 At a meeting of the North Island Hockey Association delegates at Palmerston North correspondence touching a dispute between Otaki and Lovin as lo where the headquarters of the Horowhcnua Association slionld be situated was read. The Otaki Clubs claimed that the sport was far more alive in Otaki than it was in Levin, and urged that the headquarters should l.c moved to Otaki. Mr Kerslake refuted the statement of the Otaki Clubs. He stated that the Levin people had never been approached by the Otaki Clubs on the subject, and that they were carrying on their schemes behind the backs of the Lovin people. He urged that the matter was one for the Associations concerned to deal with. — This was agreed to. In fairness to Otaki it may be stated that this request was made while sport in Levin wms “dead.”
