His plav that day was decidedly faulty, and he was blamed for a loss. Next day he produced two luscious melons and regaled his team, who suffered even more severely, and got an even worse beating. He then ostentatiously blamed them for their bad play, and-had much pleasure in his revenge and m disclosing the reason therefor to the winners.
