CRICKET.
Championship matches in connection with the Horowhenua Cricket Association, commence on Saturday, January 10th, when Shannon plays Levin at Levin, and Otaki plays Te Horo at Otaki. The Wednesday competition will start'on January 7th, when Manakau will meet the Training Farm. Messrs Claridgc-and Hcmmingssn were appointed selectors of representative teams.
