Mr “Sud” Cook shortly joins tlio Rutiliine, and will sail at no distant date for England. < It is Mr W. H. Field's intention to visit Samoa with the Parliamentary party, which leaves at an early date. Mr Erie Williams, who left New Zealand by the Willochra as a wireless operator, lias travelled a deal since leaving these shores. He is expected to return by the Wahine in February as first operator. Miss Felliugiuun, late of Manakau, has severed her connection with the Bideford school. Prior to doing so she uas entertained and presented with a gold pendant set with pearls and a neck chain as a token of esteem. Mr Andrew tiny has retired from the legal firm of Gov and lvtipley, Balnierston North, the business being carried on in the same promises by Mr Raydey nnder the linn’s name. It is understood that from the commencement of tlie new year Mr Uaploy will amalgamate his business with that of Messrs Cooper ami Kuthori'urd.
