WONDERFUL DAIRY COW.

A remarkable case of fecundity in r dairy cow lias come under our notice (says the “ftVyndham Farmer ’’). The animal in quest ion, which is a half-bred Friesian, seven years old, bred and owned by Air Wilson Heaps, Wymlham, last, week gave birth to triplet calves, one male and two female, all line and healthy. All doubts as to whether site is actually the dam of the three calves and has not mothered another cow's offspring, may be dispelled by the fact that she was the last of Mr Heap's cows to come to profit, and besides the triplets all bear a striking colour resemblance to her. Further proof of potency to produce her species is shown bv the fact of her in four previous seasons : her first calf was produced when she was a three-venr-old. dropping six calves, and on two of these occasions producing twins. Thus though only seven years old. this wonderful cow has had nine of a family.
