They will be included in the official counts, which will not be begun in the various districts until nil the papers have been received. About 1800 seamen's permits and about 16,000 absent voters ’ permits were issued, but some of these pormits may not have been used. The final count will also include the votes of 1371 soldiers now at sea on j their way to New Zealand.
