BOWLING.
On Wednesday two matches were played at the local green for the pair,-, trophy. C. Gooding and Noble met
their “Waterloo” at the hands of Jackson and Bills, 1512, while Ut. Oeorgo and Webster went under to Williams and Satherlcy, 22-15. In tho first content Gppding and Noble opened well and established a lead 8-0, but after thin they only scored four. la the other match Williams and Satherlcy led from the start. The green was in good order.
Three rinks visit Johnsonviiio on Boxing Day, viz., Gooding, Ayre, O’Bourke, Knight, Noble, McDougail. Oliivor, Umith, Howell, Petrie, Waft?, Canning.
