SPORTS AT PARAPARAUMU.
The only attraction in this district on New Year’s Day will be the sports at Paraparaumu, and judging by the interest being displayed the function promises to he highly successful. Several valuable trophies are offered as prizes, while a handsome cup, value £lO 10s, and a gold modal will be awarded as points prizes. The events are varied, and should entice many athletes to take part. The programme appears elsewhere.
