WEDDING BELLS.
HAND —CORNOR. A pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. G. V. Kendrick at St. Luke’s Church, Waikanae, on Wednesday last, when Miss Queenie Rose Cornor, third daughter of Mr and Mrs Samuel Coruor, of Waikanae, and lately of Rikiorangi, was married to Mr Edward Hand, of Paraparaumu, sou of 51 vs and the late Mr M. F. Hand, of Chelmsford, England. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory crepe de-chene and georgette, aud carried a shower bouquet of roses and maidenhair fern fastened with satin streamers. The bridesmaids were: Miss Jean Maclean (cousin of the bride), who wore a pretty frock of white silk embroidered with pale pink; sliss Irene
Corner (sister of the bride), and little Miss Peggy Meek, who both wore dainty frocks of frosted voile. All carried bouquets of pale pink, while and blue sweet peas and maidenhair fern fastened with pink, white and blue streamers. The church was very tastefully deorated by girl friends of the bride. After the ceremony a reception was held by Mr and Mrs Cornor at the residence of Mrs E. P. Me.qk at Waikanae. Later Mr and Mrs Hand left for the South. L
