OTAKI STATE SCHOOL.
COMMITTEE MEETING. The ordinary monthly meoting of the Otaki - School- Committee Ivas held on Monday night. Present: Messrs J. B. Bills (chairman), A. J. Watts, A. An-' derson,- and Mrs Bills. The inspector’s report showed the work at the school to be very satisfactory. It was decided to have several minor improvements effected by way of hanging blinds, cleaning tanks, spouting, etc., also that the school bo fumigated juslt previous to reopening after the holidays. It was decided to give the contractor one week in which to erect the flag-pole. It was also decided to supply afternoon tea for the children and parents on the “breakingup" for the holidays (16th inst.) The headmaster’s report showed the attendance to be. satisfactory.
