ADDINGTON MARKET. Christchurch, November 20. There, was an average yarding of both- fat and store stock at Addington to-day. Prices were practically at the same level as last week;- the market, ? which opened rather weakly for fat 1 stock, firming towards the close of the | sale, was somewhat irregular. \ .Store Sheep.—The market was firm. 5 Mixed sex hoggets' 20s to 35s 9d, ; wether hoggets 2fis to 29s 2d, full- ! mouthed ewes and lambs (all counted) | pus to 20s 3d, two-tooth shorn wethers j 18s (id to 27s 3d, two-tooth shorn ewes | 22s to 24s 10d, ewe hoggets 30s (id ’to i 34s Gel, four ajid six-tooth wethers 33s ! 7d to 39s (id, four-tooth shorn wethers ! 2(is l"d to 3.1 s Sd. Pat Lambs. —There was a large yarding of over 500 as compared with 288 last week. Extra prime 40s, prime to 36s 6d, medium 27s Oil to 30s 9d, lighter : 21s to 275. Pat Sheep. —Six races as compared ,villi eight last week were penned. Store. Cattle. —There was an average yarding, but the sale was dragging except for good store cows. Pour-year-old steers £lB 10s, three-year-old £9 2s fid to £l2 10s, two-year-old £9 15s, two-year-old heifers £5 ss, store cows £8 5s to £9 15s, yearling heifers £2 11s, mixed sex yearlings £3 15s. Dairy Cattle. —There was good competition for a moderate yarding. First ; calvers £8 10s to £l3 'os, second and ! third calvers £lO to £l4 17s fid, others £7 15s to £l7 15s. I Vcalers. —Except for first-class run* I ners prices were a shade easier. Eun- , ners to £8 10s, good vcalers £5 2s fid, I fair £2 12s Id, inerior 5s to 10s. I Pigs.—There was an average yarding for which the inquiry was keen. Extra heavy baconcrs £B, heavy baconers £7 | to £7 15s, others £5 10s to £fi 10s (equal to lljd per lb), heavy porkers £1 10s to £5, others £1 to £1 5s (equal to 124 d to 13d per lb). In store pigs there was a -demand for good sorts to £4 ss, | medium £2 15s to £3, slips £1 17s fid to £2 10s, weanors £1 5s to £2 7s fid.
