CONDITIONS ON DECEMBER 17. STATEMENT BY MR C. L. WKAGGE Astronomical conditions that will obtain on December 17 are the subject of a statement forwarded to the Auckland “Herald” by Mr Clement L. Wragge, The statement is as follows: “The following astronomical positions of the sun and planets on December 17 next arc, to say the least, very ominous and significant: Right Ascension. “Note.—-The wireless pull of all the main planets, except Uranus, is on the sun in one direction, while Uranus pulls in the opposite direction. The earth, it appears, will be nearly at right angles to the line of forces, and in- such a position as to receive a

‘swish’ of the gigantic electric disturbance that is almost certain to be set up in the sun. lam issuing no panic forecast as to what will happen, only readers should watch the cablegrams at that time, and for some while thereafter —if the cables work. X consider it my duty, however, to advise as follows: —The powerful wireless wave* that will make the whole solar system
