CLEARING SALE. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— AVe conducted a clearing sale of dairy stock on account of Mr Tucmeko AVehipeiliana, at the farm, Ohau. There was a good attendance of buyers present, and competition was keen. Quotations: —Best cow’s selling from £22 to £34 10s, medium £l7 10s to £2l, aged and three-quartered cow’s £l2 to £l7, average price per head £l9 10s, threeyear Shorthorn bull £26, 15-month bull £S, calves on bucket 7s to 15s. On account of other vendors: 2-year empty heifers £7 ss, yearling heifers £5 5s to £7 2s Od, light gig £14.-
