WEDDING.
BARCLAY—BARCLAY. A quiet wedding was solemnised atthe Presbyterian Church, Gore, ou Thursday, November 13th, when Mr Roderick Barclay, late Otago Infantry, X.Z.E.F., was married to Mrs M. Barclay, of Otaki, widow of Mr Frederick Barclay, N.Z.R.8., late of this district. The bride is a cousin of the bridegroom and granddaughter of Major Thomas Boyle, Imperial-Army. She was given away by Mr A. AVingate, of “ Fairplace,” and late of the Queen’s Guards (Imperial Army). The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr James Barclay, lute N.Z.E.F. The bride was attired in a travelling dress of shepherd’s plaid, with black ostrich cape and hat to match, and Mrs AA’ingate, mother of I the bridegroom, wore a costume of | black velvet and hat to match. After tho ceremony Mr and Mrs Roderick Barclay left by motor car for the AVuimca. The bridegroom and best man were both on active service, the former being wounded in the Somme advance. AVc join with the many friends of Mr and Mrs Barclay in wishing them all happiness.
