FATALITY AT FEILDING.
MAN CUT TO PIECES. As the north-bound Auckland express Avas steaming out of the Feilding station yesterday afternoon an elderly man, Alex. Wood, a carpenter employed by the Freezing Works at Kakariki, attempted to clamber aboard. He stumbled and fell bittveen the carriage and the station platform and under the Avheels of the train, which was r>rueeeding very slowly, B« was shockingly mutilated, anti killed instantaneously.
