BOLSHEVISM.
A SCHOOL FOR TRAINING. Details of the training by the Bolsheviks of special propagandists for use in Germany arc given in this Berlin despatch printed in the ICilnisehe Zeitung:— “In Petrograd there is a German Soldiers’ Council whose chairman is a jCertain Filter, who previously was employed in Berlin as it journalist. Filler publishes three newspapers in Petrograd, The Red Soldier, The Second International, and The Communist. These papers arc sent out in great numbers, especially to East Prussia.
“In tho Warsaw railroad station in Petrograd a school has been established in which German prisoners of war arc educated in a Bolshevist sense. Detachments arc formed of the persons trained there which are sent to Gop many for the purpose of agitating in German districts that appear ripe for their work.
These propaganda detachments are to prepare the way there for the Soviet Republic. Altogether some 10,000 German propagandists aro to be trained in Petrograd, and are to return to Germany as liberated prisoners of
“According to information obtained by the ’’Berliner Borzenzeitung,’ a second organisation for the influencing of German war prisoners in Petrograd is attached to the staff of the ‘Licb-
knecht Brigade. ’ At two relay stations, Nizhi-Novgorod and all the German and Austrian prisoners of war coming from Siberia arc assembled, and
sent to the main station in Moseow. « There the Western Communist Division jis formed out of them. It is said to ’ comprise 20,000 men in eight regiments. •At the beginning of February there Iwcre 7000 men in it. This division is destined io march into Germany at the proper time, but it is said to be more of a propaganda • troop than a fighting ; unit. Specially adapted members of s this body are sent to tho Liebknecht . . Brigade in Petrograd, which is said to ■ "be some 5000 men strong at present, i Tlie Liebknecht also turns some men over to the propaganda school at War- - saw station for training.”
