OTAKI BULB SOCIETY.
A" meeting of the committee of the above was held last night, when there ! were peresent:—Messrs H. "Witehell f (vice-president, in the chair),- ~W. ; Knight',' H. Small, and S. Korgrove (secretary). The secretary presented a statement of accounts in connection with the late : show, showing a small credit balance. A donation of £2 was received from Mrs Swabey, who had had charge of • stalls at the show, in aid of the Melan- [ osi?.ri Mission. I The secretary was instructed to con- ! vey the best thanks of the committee I to Mr'AV'. Buckingham, who had judged the exhibits, and to the ladies in charge. of the tea-rooms and produce stall. It was decided to call a special meeting of tlie committee for Monday next, to deal with various matters, including the procuring of another Citizens' Trophy for next year, Mr T. "Waugh (Lower Hutt) having won that pret viously offered.
