RETURNED SOLDIERS’ BALL.

BIG SUCCESS AT TE HORO. The much-talked-of danco held in the To Horo Public Hall by the Returned Soldiers of that district Friday night to raise funds for the ’Otaki branch of tho K.S.A. was a great iuceess. Tho hall had been nicely decorated with flags, greenery, etc., making a very pretty scene. People came from far and near, and the hall was very hard pressed for space; in fact, it was a case of standing for a groat many. The attack on Father Time started at 8 p.m, sharp to excellent music supplied by Mrs Dn3', and with a first-class floor jhe dancers kept going until 2.30 a.m., when it was decided to withdraw to Blanket Bay. The committee under tho charge of Mr V. Morgan as hon. secretary carried out their duties in a soldierly manner, and great credit is due to all of them. It was generally conceded to be one of tho most enjoyable functions hold in tho district. Messrs Geo. Guy and W. Nicols mado efficient M’s.O. Tho committee wish to thank tho ladies who helped with the supper arrangements.
