In the House this afternoon Mr Massey made the following statement: Commencing on Monday next and until further notice, express trains will be rim as follows: —Leave Auckland for Wellington on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Leave Wellington for Auckland on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Leave Auckland for Rotorua on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. . Leave Rotorua for Auckland on Mori- i day, AVcdnesday and Friday. Leave 'Paluierston for Napier on Tuesday; Thursday and Saturday. Leave Napier for Palmcrston on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Leave Wellington for New Plymouth on Thursday and Saturday. Leave New Plymouth for Wellington on Monday. Wednesday and Friday. Leave Wellington for Woodvillc on Tuesday, Thurs'day, and Saturday. Leave Woodvillc for Wellington on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Leave Christcluirch for Cunedin on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. . Leave Dunedin for Christchurch on Tuesday, Tkuisday »ad Saturday. Leave I'ucedin for Invcrcargill on Tuesday. Thursday and Saturday. . Leave Invcrcargill for Dunedin on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It will, however, be necessary to impose restrictions on passenger traffic in order to keep passenger trains down to one engine doad. . With respect to goods traffic, restrictions arc being gradually cased, and material relief will be given, but in view of the accumulation of timber and other large lines, some little time must elapse before normal conditions will ■ again be restored.
