Y.M.C.A. A well-attended meeting of the ATmtrkau branch of the above was held m Friday night last. Air Lcs. Atkins prv silling. Jt. was an essay evening, essays belli; given by the following:—Mr 8. .1. Gilbert. "As a Strong Man”; Air Let Staples, "Railway Restrictions”; 3k Cameron, "Pictures and Theatre going”; Air Lcs. Atkins, "The Htu'ij. of Nature”; At r J. Howard Andrirr. "An Evening in Naples.” All of the essays were well received and the reading and discussion made at , interesting and profitable evening. The ladies provided supper. Y.W.C.A.
