Dalgety and Company, Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office, under date of the 11th inst.:— "The wool sales opened to a fair attendance of buyers. The catalogues comprised a fair selection. As compared with the closing rates of last sales merinos generally were unchanged. Fine and medium crossjireds often showed an advance of 5 per cent. Other descriptions were unchanged, except scoured and slipe crossbreds, which were rather lower. Competition was irregular. ’ ’
