Captain P. H. Harper, brother to Mr G. 11. Harper, of Otaki, who has been on active service for nearly five years, is due to return to "Wellington by the Cordova on August ."50th.
A local celebrity, in the person »f Mr Xorman Campbell, died »t the Otaki Hospital yesterday afternoon. Campbell, who hftd resided -in Otaki for many years, was admitted to the local hospital a few days ago in ft very bad way. and his death was not unexpected. He was 58 years of age, and had no relatives in Now Ze»nnd.
