ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the above was held recently, when there was a large attendance of shareholders. In their annual report the directors congratulate shareholders upon the satisfactory results disclosed, notwithstanding the dislocation caused through tho influenza epidemic, which reduced the profit and output considerably. Milk received for the whole season has yielded 200,3331bs of butter-fat, of which 18,1-iGlbs were 1 made into cheese and 22,1871bs were separated, on which at an advance of Is 3d, £12,524 3s Id has been paid to suppliers. The total amount of cheese manufactured this season was 470,0911b5. The yield for the season is 2.(51. The average test for the season was 3.9. After writing off £SOO ou buildings and machinery, the profit and loss account shows a credit balance of £OO4B 10s Bd. Wc recommend that £5195 ISs (id be declared as a bonus on butter-fat maaufacturcd in cheese, at the rate of 7d per lb, and that £277 Os 9d be declared as a bonus on butter-fat sold as fresh crcamj at the rate of 3d per lb, leaving £375 I.ls 5d to be dealt with. The retiring directors are Messrs R. V. Brown, Ruihi Wcliipeihana, 'Tumokc Wehipoiliuna, and C. Bell. Messrs Brown and Ruihi and Tumcke Wehipcihana offer themselves for re-election. .

Messrs R. V. Bpown, C. I. Harkncss, Tumcke Wcliipeihana and Ruihi Wehipeihana were elected to tho four vacancies ou the directorate. if!r T. C. Brash was re-elected auditor.

The question of putting a whey butter plant in was discussed and left in the hands of the directors. A bonus of £25 was voted to Mr C. I. Harkncss. the retiring secretary, for his past services. It was decided to pay out a bonus of 7d per lb on butter-fat delivered for the season, absorbing £5473 5s 3d, leaving £475 to be passed to reserve. A special meeting was held afterwards, at which Mr J. D. Brown was unanimously elected chairman of directors, say 3 the “Chronicle.”
