WAIHOANGA NOTES.

▼ The usual card party and dance was held at the AYaihoanga school house on Friday night last, whein there a capital gathering and a most enjoyable evening was spent by all present. Some nine tables were occupied by card players. Miss Dodds and Air A. Thom- 1 son won the ladies’ and men’s prizes j respectively. Miss Myrtle Stanaish and j Mr D. G. Clark haring the “honour” ' of being the 4 ‘boobies.” Much interest was taken in the play.
