BOWLERS’ BALL.
Jgr A brilliant success. The annual ball in connection with -"the Otaki Bowling. Club was held in Brights’ Theatre on Wednesday, evening, and was an unqualified success. The attendance, despite the cold weather, was large, and the utmost enthusiasm was shown. The various arrangements were in capable hands, and everything passed off without a hitch. The floor was in good order, first-class music was supplied by the Cook orchestra, while supper was a specially pleasing feature, i Tho interior of the building was gaily decorated, and this, with the many lovely dresses worn by the ladies, and the coats of the bowlers, made a bright display. Credit for the success of the function is certainly due to the energetic secretary (Mr A. Satherley), to several of the club members, and the ladies who so ably assisted him. Messrs I/'. St. George and G. Noble were M’s.C., assisted by members of the Club. : %
