HIGH PRICES.

The writer says that at Hamilton (near Glasgow) butter is ■jelling at 2s 6d per lb, cheese Is Bd, -teak 2s 4d, stew beef Is lOd, milk 3s gallon, boots from 27s to 455, and a suit of clothes from £7 10s. The prices indicate grave anomalies . and injustices.
