' BIG IMPROVEMENTS TO BE EFFECTED. If is proposed to make very considerable alterations ana additions to the Kahui Dairy Co.'s factory at Otaki, iB otdcr to meet the demands of the Wellington City Council's fresh milk supply. At Friday night's meeting ef the Wellington City Council, on the recommendation of the Milk Committee., the Council granted authority for tho fol- ' lewing alterations to be carried out at Jlie Eahui factory:—Buildings, £S-0; plant, S 00; refrigerating plant, £lo00; total £2620. Cr. Norwood explained that'it" was desirable that the milk Should bo treated immediately it was teceived at Eahui, instead of having to lie brought to Wellington first.
