OTAKI PEACE CELEBRATIONS.

SILVER BAND SECURE®. Definite arrangements have been made for the Wellington Mission feilver Band of some 40 members to visit Gtaki and assist with the peace celebrationon Saturday, Ifftb. and the Sunday. The band will assist at the big ÜBited thanksgiving sorvi/e on Sunday afternoon, and will give a sacred concert in the theatre the same evening at 8.15, admission to be by silver coin. In ail probability an open-air »cffbratance‘ will be given by the band at the Sanatorium grounds on Monday afternoon, the bandsmen returning to WelliegtOn on Monday evening. A choir practice for the thanksgiving service will be held at the theatre <w* Monday night next, when all who can sing are requested to attend and practise the hymn*.
