OTAKI —THIS DAY. Before E. Page, Esq., fj.M. Henry Mira, charged with assaulting Tho-a McDonald on June 4th. was convicted and fined £l.. Annie Iliggott sued Prank Higgott for £23, arrears in maintenance of his son. Accused was convicted and sentenced to one month ’*' Imprisonment,to be suspended so long as he paid oil arrears at the rate of £3 per '-month, and kept U]* .payments. Tire case in which Wesley Knight 'Air Kirk) claimed £36 3s 6d from George Be van (Mr JHavdey) was being heard when we went to press.
