WAIKANAE STOCK SALE. The Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ld.. report:^*At our Waikanae yards on Wednesday we offered a fair entry of sheep and a good yarding of cattle. A good sale resulted, a total clearance being made at the following prices;—Medium fat wethers 31s 3d, fat ewes 2Ps 7d. 2. 4 and d-tooth ewes in lamb 2>s. medium shorn lambs 14s. 31 -year steers £lO 10s. 21-vear ditto*£7 los to £s is. 21-year ditto £4 10s to £<> 10s, 10-montlis mixed cattle £3 13s to £4 10s. small mix sex weaners 235. heifers r.w.b. £5 to £O. store cows £4.
