Among the soldiers returning by the Kigohia, due at Wellington on July Jo, ' arc-Privates M. B. Clark (Otaki), J. jy. Cole (Otaki),7 T. Hannan (Levin), J. McKenna (Otaki), A. B. Williams (Levin), J. S. Sharman (Levin), and Sergt. Dan. Hurley (H.M.), Otaki. Mrs F. Horton Bright left on Saturday afternoon to take up residence in Wellington. Mrs A. Bright, after a frit) north, will also take up residence in the Empire City. The latter will bo entertained at- a Guild tea at the Anglieau Church room on Thursday. Mr F. W. Pink, of Levin, who has spout the last two months health recruiting in the Botorua district, returned to Levin on Friday, considerably dulgo in a further holiday, which uulgo in a further short holiday, which will be spent in Wellington, where he will consult a specialist. Mr J. 11. Andrew, who has icen spending several weeks’ holiday for the benefit of his health, returned to Manakau on Saturday evening last. Ho is much better for the rest-and change, but will have to go quietly for some time yet. During his absence for the holiday Mr Andrew visited tho King Country, Te Arolia and Auckland. Ho was specially impressed with ilie great, strides made in the King Country during the past few years.
