SAD BEREAVEMENT.
SON AND TWO DAUGHTERS BURIED IN ONE GRAVE.
Many old residents of this district will well remember Mr C. Nodine, for many years a resident of Tc Horo, and a gentleman who took a foremost part in local body affairs in the district. Mr Nodine and his family have been living for several years past at Torquay, in England. Word has ,jnot been received, by friends in this district, of the cad death of Mr Nodine's son (Mr Louis Nodine) and two daughters (Misses Marcia and Claudia Nodine), which occurred under particularly distressing circumstances early last April. Mr Louis Nodino was a member of the Imperial Flying Corps, and saw much servico in France, where he took ill with influenza, and was invalided home. He died from the complaint, and his two sisters, who contracted tlio disease from him, died also, the three being buried iu the same grave. Such & tragic bereavement has, of course, Como as a terrible shock on the sorrowing parents, who will have the sympathy of a great many friends throughout this district. , Mr Louis Nodine was a bright and exceedingly popular young man, being held in high esteem in Tc Iloro, where, ills two sisters were also well and favourably known.
