CORRESPONDENCE.

BOWLING.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—2fow that the annual meeting of the local Bowling Club is to be held shortly, it may be an opportune time to suggest that for the first year the membership fee be reduced and tints allow new members an opportunity ol taking on the popular game. What with the heavy joining fee,'the purchase of bowls, clothes, etc., the .amount asked for is far too stiff, and debars many front indulging in the pastime. lor the sake of sport I hope the Club will see its way to consider this matter at its meeting on 'Wednesday. 1 feel sure it would be a step in the right direction. —Yours, etc... WOULD-BE MEMBER.
