HIDE AND TALLOW REPORT. Messrs Dftigc-ty and Co., Ltd., report:— For cur fortnightly hide and tallow sale we catalogued, a good selection of all classes. Those lines of hides which were not selected by tanners at schedule prices met with particularly keen competition, and good sound ox and cb;v hides realised up to - 2-jd above schedule rates. All ether lines were in keen demand and showed a small advance on last sale-'s rates. We topped the sale with the price of laid for a line of 75ib. ox. Horse hides realised up to dos each. Tallow was again in keen demand, and tinned tallow realised the extraordinarily high, price oi 4Ss fid per cw>. LONDON WOOL SALES. London, June 13. There was a good attendance at the wool sales. The market was firm, and competition was' fully maintained at yesterday’s rates.
