Y.M.C.A., at Otaki; Tainui a bye. .
The hockey fixtures for Wednesday are arousing considerable interest, and some keen contests are expected. Otaki will journey to Levin to meet the newly-formed Excelsior Club, which possesses' some old and well-known players, while Te Horo and Tainui will cross sticks on the local Domain. Tho game is again coming into popular favour, and large numbers are expected to witness both contests. The Tc Horo team will be chosen from the following: Jamieson, .1. Marino, P. Best, K. Spiers, G. Hayward, Celtic, Norrish, Allen, J. Griffith, Fitzgerald, It. Wiudley, Puli, and' W. Marino.
