DRUIDISM.
Of laic largo meetings of the Otaki Lodge of Druids have been the rule and not the exception. At the. half-yearly meeting last, night the District President and several visitors from Levin wore present. The balaifce-sheot presented was considered most satisfactory. The newly-elected officers worn installed in their respective offices by D.P. Bro. Lancaster, who carried out;
the ceremony in a very imnressive manner. P.A.. Bro. T. Collins officiated as AI.C. The newly-installed officers relumed thanks. An enjoy aide, social evening was then spent. The usual toasts were honoured, and songs were given by Bros. D. Wilson, Lancaster, Symonds, Bax, and Allen. .Sonic excellent speeches wore made during the evening, and the singing of "Auld Lang Sync” closed the gathering.
