The following is the official report of the mcermg of the Liberal Party, which meets witlf the approval of the Leader: — W •», A meeting of the Liberal party was held to-day, the Acting-Leader, Hon. W. D. S. MacDonald, presiding. It was unanimously resolved: “That, while loyally abicuug by the existing compact between the two parties, the Liberal party will contest the uext general election separate and apart from the Reform Party, and with a different, progressive, and radical policy. ’ ’
