Now that my term of garrisoning the Rliiiujnnd towns has come to an end, i shall be happy to return
Just before writing this- it:lei, Private Field ,and bis mates had had a \ Lit from the Prince ot V. ales, who came,into their billet, ami. sitting on an old box, had a long and friendly chat with them. Private Field said tlio Prince was very boyish for his years, and in appearance, and was entirely without affectation. He spoke in terms of high appreciation of the work of the New Zealanders.
