EGYPT REJOICES
ALLBNBY RELEASES PASHA. Cairo, April 12. General Allenby’s announcement of the release of the pasha and others who had been interned at Malta, led to enthusiastic demonstrations in Cairo and Alexandria, recalling Mafcking night in London. All classes of Egyptians paraded the streets singing, dancing and shouting “Vive L’Angleterre; Vivo Allenby.” An ur'oilunate incident oecurred in the Opera House Square in Cairo. The mob rams into collision with British soldiers. There wore several casualties, including two soldiers being wounded.
