ADDINGTON MARKET. Christchurch, April 16. At Addington market xx-itli the exception of fat lambs there were fairly large entries in all departments; The yarding of store sheep xx-as not quite so large as of late, and the market slioxvcd it little improvement. There was a small offering of fat lambs, and the liriccs .xvcrc a shade better. Fat sheep were entered in larger numbers than for some time past, and the market showed a good recovery from the drop of the previous week, the rise-"being from Is fid to 2s fid per head. Fat cattle xvcrc irregular, but ou the xvholo prices were somewhat firmer. Store cattle xvere dull 01 sale, and the prices accepted were lower than for some years past. Fat -pigs sold xvcll, but stores were easier.
Store Sheep.—Twodooth ewes Sis Gd io 25s fid, four aud six-tooth ewes 22s to 29s 9d, sound mouth ewes 12s to 20s, two-tooth xvethers 23s 7d to 255, small xvethers 10? 9d to ISs Sd, four and sixtooth wethers 20s 3d to 21s, ewe lambs 14s to 20s. xvether lambs 11s fid to 14s fid. mixed sex lambs 5s to 16s Id, fat

Fat Sheep.—-Extra prime wethers to” 45s fid. prime wethers 32s fid to 3Ss fid, lighter wethers 25s fid to 325, merino wethers 30s 4d to 31s 3d, extra prime ewes 435, prime ewes SOs to 36s 6d, medium ewes 25s 6d to 29s 6d, lighter ewes 20s 2d to 255, inferior ewes 14s Dd to 17s 6d.
