The Otaki Racing Club intend effecting further improvements at- the course before its mooting on June 3rd and 4th (Tuesday and Wednesday), and lret ter conveniences at the “tote” house xvill be a prominent feature. The club has also decided to increase the amount of stakes by £620, and the prize money, therefore, should draiv leading horses, and thus provide interesting sport. Mr AValtcr Bull has been appointed secretary of the Horowlicnua Racing Club, xx-hich holds a meeting early ne.\‘t month.
