HOCKEY.
A successful meeting was held at Otaki on Monday afternoon, for the purpose of forming a hockey club. Mr A. L. Wjnterburn was chairman, While the attendance was large. It was decided to form a elnb, to be known as “Tainai, 77 colours to be white jersey and band. The following officers were elected:—Captain, Behan Hapere; vice-c-aptain, Kehu Hakaraia; treasurer, Mr Chas.-* Wilson; secretary, Mr August .Wallace. ' ' - ' ■ > ‘
