During tlic past season mucli interest lias centred in the singles contest for trophies given by the President (Hr St. H. Ayre) and air W. F. Edwards. The figures have now been checked, and show K. F. Smith (handicap 3) to bo first on the list with 9} games, J. R, Bills (scr) next with 5J games. The former won 14 games out of If. which number was reduced by players w ith handicaps, while Bills put up the unique record of winning ton games out of ten played. AS he was on the scratch matk his wins were, consequently, reduced. Petrie (3) non seven games, but his margin of points reduced his total likewise. A'. Smith (5) and D. Noble (scr) registered six wins each, St. George (6) five wins, Avrc (5) four wins, Windley (4), Nicholls (13) and • Williams (S) three wins, and Gooding (S). Kilmister (5), Webster (<>), Brantley (13), Canning (6) and Anderson (3) one each. Earkin (10), Witehell (S); Edwards (scr), Baker (S), and Skelley (12) failed to register wins. The above results are given without taking handicaps into consideration. In the pairs contest, for a trophy given by Mr .T. B. Bills, Knight secured the verdict by securing seven wins, Ayre being next with six. Webster, Williams and D. Noble scored five wins, Skelley and lan-kin -four each, R. F. Smith. Canning, Windley and Petrie three each. Bills. Satherley. O’Rourke, Witehell and Kihuisier two c-ach, Bax, G.'Noble, A. Smith, Gooding, Edwards, 'Anderson. Olliver, Nicholls hud Brown o-ne each.
