Mrs H. Witehell. of Otaki, made two entries for khaki shirt at the Wanganui Show last week, and secured first and second prize for same.
Lieut. Walter Taylor, of Otaki, was, at latest advices, with the New Zealand Division on the Rhine. At the time of writing he was aetiiig-ctpaiii.
Mr ,T. M. Hill has sold his Otaki Gorge-farm to Mr Stevens, of Palmcrston North, who is now in possession, -ur Stevens was for some time on the staff of the "Manawatu Standard."-
Mrs Hedditch, of Wanganui, mother of Mr C. H. G. Hedditch. of Otaki. is at yvresent on a visit here. Mrs Hedditch will shortly be joined by her sou, Trooper I. Hedditch, who recently returned from the front.
