RED CROSS SHOP.
The Roll Gross shop at Otaki on Saturday did good business, £33 resulting. The competition winners worn'-as follows: —Dolls’ house, Kathleen- Carroll, No. 32.1; coverlet., Mrs Irvine, No'. fi: basket, J. Robust, No. 44; smoker’s - companion, Mrs E. M. D’Ath, No. .10; blouse, L. Evans, No. 4. Those in charge wore Mesdnmcs Hodge. Evans,. Blair, I’oclevin, Sherman, Blatlnvayt, AVitcliell and Miss Gkerman. Thanks are extended to all. who so generously sent goods and worked so hard to make this last shop day so "real a success. Lively interest centred round, the doll Is house, given -by Miss Callcott, and Hie lucky little winj nor is to be congratulated, i Among the helpers who deserve special ; mention are Master Leo. Bowden and Eric Bills. Both lads worked hard, mid helped considerably throughout the day. The Ladies’ Guild will continue to “carry on” as, long ns required.
