POR IMPERIAL GOVERNMENT. A Gazette Extraordinary states that .the'..New Zealand Government is pre* pared.to purchase from the mariufac- : turers, for the British Government, the .whole of ihe" exportable surplus of factory or dairy cheese manufactured iu .New Zealand during the period beginning on Ist July, I9lß,and ending on Ist July. 1920. The prico is to be 101 d per lb for 'lrat gtade full cream factory cheese, •*°ia for eecfiJtd -grade factory cheese, AUa “ -*">da factory cheese, and sl-Od “for third gio... « delivered free on board ocean steamc* at a customary grading port for direct carriage to the United Kingdom. The prices to be paid for dairy cheese are 9Jd per lb for first grado and S?d for second grade, delivered free on board ocean steamer. All cheese manufactured in New Zealand since the Ist July, 1918, and already sold to the Government for the use of the British Government before the date of this Gazette shall be deemed to have been sold-- under the provisions of this scheme, and all the foregoing provisions shall - apply accordingly.
