SOLDIERS’ MONUMENT.

To tho Editor. Sir, —The- Town Board, I see by your report, has decided to make a grant for a monument to mark the deeds of our soldier boys. Good! Now, let us all do our bit, and give according to our means. Let the wealthy lead off, and we of the poorer class will assist. Tho object is a worthy one, and wo trust tho Patriotic Society will lose no time in -pushing the movement.—Yours, " PRO BONO PUBLICO.
