CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION
MRS FRANK WALKER AWARDED £BOO. In tho claim for compensation, Mrs Frank Walker v. Frank Penn (nominal defendant) tho Court of Arbitration has given its decision, awarding tho sum of £SOO compensation, together with the funeral expenses of tho deceased, and costs. The case was heard in Wellington on Friday last before tho Arbitration Court. j Mr P. J. O'Began, instructed by Mr ,-G. H. Harper, appeared for the widow, and Mr T. Neave for the defendant. j Mr Peim is fully covered by his omI plovers' liability policy in the Comj mercial Union Assurance Company, who I contested the claim.
