BOWLING.
A bowling match that created some interest was played on the local green on Saturday evening between two promising young bowlers —Searancke anil Larkin —and two ladies—-Mes-dames Hodge and Bramley. The latter pair opened with a four, but this only spurred tho youngsters on, and in record time their score 'was 27-£. The ladies then scored a five by some.fine play, and then a single, lint the boys in the meantime had not. been idle, and on the hist head had scored 20-16.
