A GERMAN PIANO.
PUBLIC MEETING AT FOXTON. A public meeting of Foxton rerf-H dents was held on Tuesday night to dis-lp cuss the acceptance by the school com-lf mittec of the offer of a sccond-u'audfl piano of Gorman manufacture to rc-M place the one, lost by the fire at tliog school. The Mayor presided, and there* was a large attendance. The whole facts were explained tali the meeting by the chairman of IheH school committee (Mr J. K. Hor-a-H blow), who was accorded a good rccep-|§ tion, with the exception of a icw intcr«B jections. A motion was carried refusing to < .- dorse the petition culling upon theflj chairman of the school committee toi resign.
